Dr Ciobanu has extensive work experience in medical and dental education, instructional design, as well as information and technology.  He is recognized internationally as the pioneer of interactive medical 3D e-learning. His 3 D visualizations and simulations, as well as his overall contribution to medical curriculum are well known.  Other than his title as Faculty member and lecturer of various well-known universities in North America and Europe, Dr Ciobanu’s credentials include a Doctorate in Medical Informatics, specialized in Medical Education Visualizations and Simulations, a medical as well as a dental degree, and finally, a Masters in Enterprise Administration.

Dr Ciobanu’s involvement with universities and professional associations lead to an incomparable expertise in medical e-learning integration, continuing medical education (CME), training, and course adaptation for an interactive experience.  He also brings a real-world insight, to his skills, from his role as Scientific Director and Associate of a busy dental clinic. His continuing work, publications, and presentations are all directed toward further developments of 3D eLearning concepts, and real interactive education.
